WATCH: Rakhi Sawant wants to fast, perform Umrah in Ramadan

After converting to Islam, Bollywood actress and model Rakhi Sawant has expressed a desire to observe fasts and perform Umrah in the upcoming Ramadan month. She also said ‘mera naseeb khul jayega’ if she manages to perform Umrah during Ramadan.

“I can go to Umrah and I should fast properly. So that all our past sins are erased. If I go to Umrah, in Ramzan, my luck will be revealed. I have completely accepted Islam and I will fast, offer Namaz five times, all I say is that my connection is with the almighty. It is from God. If they feel that I am praying wholeheartedly and following Islam sincerely, then it will be okay for me to go for Umrah. All the connections are made from above,” she said in the video, viral on social media.

Rakhi Sawant had recently dropped another video on social media where she was seen offering namaz.

Born as Neeru Bheda and a Hindu by religion, the 44-year-old star recently converted to Islam to marry her long-time beau Adil Khan Durrani. Though the couple’s marital life has been turbulent, Sawant said she was determined to follow the “righteous path and vowed not to denounce Islam even if Durrani and she part ways.”
