Around a dozen persons got injured during a clash between the “Baratis” of two wedding processions erupted in Hasnapur village, Barabanki, as they fiercely fought over dancing to DJ’s songs.

The unusual confrontation occurred when two sisters from the same family were getting married to different homes, attracting barats from two distinct families. The situation quickly escalated, leading to a violent exchange of bricks, lathis, and poles.

The clash resulted in around a dozen individuals sustaining injuries, with several in critical condition. Police swiftly intervened to restore order and manage the chaotic scene.
