Vyas resigns as governor’s advisor

Srinagar, Dec 12: Advisor to Governor B B Vyas on Wednesday morning tendered his resignation to Governor Satya Pal Malik following his appointment as Member Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Sources said that B B Vyas is flying to Delhi where he will stay for a couple of days and he will join Union Public Service Commission as its member next week.
When contacted B B Vyas confirmed that he has tendered his resignation to Governor Satya Pal Malik and is proceeding to Delhi to take up his new assignment.
Meanwhile, Malik accepted the resignation of his advisor BB Vyas.
A notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) said: “The Hon’ble Governor has been pleased to accept the resignation of BB Vyas IAS (Retd) as advisor to the Governor with effect from December 12, 2018.”
