Video: Presenting the unexplored `Niagara falls of Kashmir’


Srinagar: Forget Aharbal, Tral waterfall is fast emerging as `Niagra falls of Kashmir.’

Mirza Muneeb, a user posted a video of a waterfall on Twitter, which has been shared and liked by scores of social media users.

 “A waterfall is nature’s laughter”, he posted a video, showing a mega waterfall with wild tulips and other flowers in the surrounding.

The tweet was retweeted by many users including Kashmir Weather, a weather monitoring organization.  “Enchanting Kashmir,” reacted a user, Nawaz Dard.

Iqbal Bhatt, another Twitter user posted the video of the same waterfall. Hundreds of people liked and commented on the video.

Ever since the videos of the waterfall have flooded social media, scores of explorers have visited the place to witness nature’s beauty.

Rizwan Ahmad posted a selfie and a video on his Instagram with the caption: “Finally I visited this place.”

In the comments, he wrote that he visited the place only after seeing the video on social media. “I live in Tral but was unaware of this wonder. People must visit here to enjoy their outing,” he said.

Scores of the users who uploaded photographs and videos of the waterfall said that the government should develop a road up to the waterfall.

With the arrival of the spring season, the tourist rush to the valley has increased manifold. Hotels at Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Srinagar are fully sold out.

The department of tourism too has started “Spring Festival ” to woo tourists.
