VHP members meet Guv, submit memorandum demanding Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

Jammu, Nov 27: A delegation of right-wing Hindu nationalist organisation, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, J&K, Tuesday met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan in Jammu.

The delegation, as per the Governor’s spokesperson, comprised of  Leela Karan; Brig/ Suchet Singh; Rajesh Gupta; Dinesh Bharti; Sant Hirdyanand; Sant Rameshwar Dass and others.

The members of the delegation, the spokesperson added, conveyed “on behalf of Hindus of J&K and Sant Community that a Law should be passed by the Central Government for construction of Ram Mandir at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya and submitted a Memorandum in this regard.”

Earlier in the month, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), J&K too had called on the Governor.
