The University of Derby is offering eight scholarships to international students to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The selected scholar will receive £11,000 under the University of Derby GREAT Scholarships.
Eligibility
- Be an Indian passport holder
- Have an offer to pursue a one-year postgraduate course at the University of Derby
- Be motivated and academically able to follow and benefit from a UK postgraduate taught course
- Be active in the field with work experience or with a proven interest in the proposed subject area
- Meet the English language requirement of the University of Derby
Benefits
- The selected scholar will receive £11,000.
Documents needed
- An essay about a topic the applicants have studied previously and why they found it interesting (not more than 500 words)

Selection Criteria
- The scholarships will be awarded based on the easy written, previous academic achievement, and the applicant’s potential.
Terms and conditions
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to attend a video interview with the selection committee.
- If the applicants are awarded a GREAT scholarship, they are not eligible to receive any other scholarships or discounts from the University of Derby.
