Srinagar, Dec 27: As Kashmir plains received the first snowfall of the season on Friday, the city center Lal Chowk transformed into a winter wonderland, captivating tourists and locals alike.
With snowflakes gently blanketing the streets, tourists couldn’t contain their excitement, some even breaking into impromptu dances and cheers in front of the historic clock tower (Ghanta Ghar).
The snowfall brought joy across Kashmir, with the historic clock tower becoming the center of attraction, as tourists were seen enjoying the snowfall.
Simran, from Delhi, said, “The snowfall is magical. It is like a dream come true to experience Kashmir in its winter glory. Lal Chowk looks breathtaking with the snow covering every inch of the city. This experience will stay with you forever.”
