Srinagar, April 18: A 75-year-old tourist from Mumbai died after falling unconscious at a hotel in the Dalgate area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district late on Thursday evening.
Officials said the tourist, identified as Sanjeev Jaywant Nabar, a resident of Dahisar West, Mumbai, suddenly lost consciousness at his hotel accommodation in Dalgate.
He was immediately taken to a nearby medical facility, where doctors declared him brought dead, the officials added.
Cognisance of the incident has been taken, and further proceedings are underway. (JKNS)
