SRINAGAR, JULY 17: Top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are set to visit Jammu and Kashmir from the first week of August as part of a comprehensive public outreach programme. This initiative from the BJP high command aims to interact with the people and listen to their issues within the Union Territory.
Sources told KNS that strategically planned in the lead-up to the Assembly elections scheduled for September this year, the visits will involve both Jammu and Kashmir divisions, with a particular focus on the Jammu region where the BJP holds considerable stakes.
Kishan Reddy, Union Minister and Election Incharge for J&K BJP yesterday expressed the party’s readiness and confidence in forming the next government in the region. “With the dedication of party workers and the faith of the people, the BJP is fully prepared for the Assembly elections and will form the next government in J&K,” Reddy asserted during a programme in Jammu.
