Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police have gone all out to pep-up doctors, nurses and other paramedics who are at the forefront in the fight against the deadly COVID 19.
Led by Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh, cops held `Solidarity Sammelan’ to hail the efforts of the frontline workers, policemen, doctors, paramedic staff, municipal workers and others in their fight against the deadly pandemic.
All Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Inspector General of Police, Senior Superintendents of Police participated in the solidarity Sammelan. Doctors, Nurses and other Paramedics from Police Hospital Jammu also participated.
Holding placards, cops also expressed solidarity with ASI Harjit Singh (Now SI) of Punjab Police who was seriously injured while performing legitimate duties during the lockdown.
IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar along with DIG CKR and SSP Srinagar expressed solidarity with fellow policemen, doctors, paramedic staff, municipal workers and other Covid-19 workers in a `Solidarity Sammelan’ held at District Police Line Srinagar. IGP Kashmir thanked all those Coronavirus warriors, who without caring about their life are working relentlessly round the clock to fight the pandemic.
“The officials were holding placards in their hands on different themes including one for ASI Harjit Singh (Now SI) of Punjab Police who was assaulted while performing legitimate duties,” said a police spokesman.
