Srinagar: Srinagar Police on Saturday launched helpline numbers for the public to provide information about drug dealers and peddlers, ensuring that the identity of informants will remain confidential.
In a statement, Srinagar Police reiterated its commitment to eradicating the drug menace in the city. “We seek your support in making our neighborhoods safer and drug-free,” the statement reads.
Providing contact details, the statement added that citizens can call or WhatsApp on 9596770550 between 10:00 AM and 04:00 PM on all days.
“Your identity will remain confidential. Together, we can make a difference and protect our future generations,” it reads.
Srinagar Police urged residents to unite against drugs and contribute to building a healthier and safer society.
