`Spider-Man: No Way Home’ enters Rs 100 crore club, surpasses Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi on Day 4

Srinagar: `Spider-Man: No Way Home’, the latest Marvel movie is having a terrific run across India.

Post pandemic, it has become yet another film that entered Rs 100crore club.

The response is so good that it surpassed Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi right from day one.

Enjoying a four-day extended weekend, the film has done the unthinkable by scoring a century in a matter of just four days.

The film has already earned Rs 109.04 crores with a massive Rs 30 crore collection on Sunday.

What has to be seen is the film performs on Monday and the following days of the week.

It would be good enough for the overall total collection to go past the Rs 150 crore mark before the release of Ranveer Singh starer‘83 this Friday.

`Spider Man-No Way Home’ has already broken all the previous records since the release of its trailer

The Multiplex Association of India had earlier said that the movie had set new records in terms of advance ticket sales. This marks a sharp recovery for the cinema industry hit hard due to the pandemic.

The film sold the most sold presale ticket since the release of Avengers-Endgame. 

PVR, has sold over 50,000 tickets of Spiderman within a span of 3 hours after the tickets were made available on online platforms.

It has seen the widest release for a Hollywood film in India across 3,264 screens. The film has been released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The third installment of the Spider-Man franchise stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Toby Maguire, among others.
