The event brought together dealers and distributors from across Kashmir and was organised to acknowledge their contribution, showcase the company’s latest manufacturing capabilities and outline its technological initiatives and future plans.
Addressing the gathering, Rahul Bansal said the company’s journey in the steel sector had been built on quality, innovation and the ability to adapt to changing technology and market requirements.
He said continued investment in modern machinery was aimed at strengthening manufacturing capabilities while ensuring that dealers and customers received products meeting high quality standards.
Bansal also stressed the importance of strong relationships with dealers and distributors, describing them as an integral part of the company’s growth and market reach. He said the launch of Shakti Thermex marked a new phase for the company while retaining the legacy and trust associated with the Shakti brand.
He said technological advancement would remain central to the company’s future strategy, with continuous improvement necessary to meet changing market expectations. The company, he added, would focus on production efficiency, product quality, faster supplies and efficient order processing to strengthen customer service.
Speaking on the occasion, business leader Amogh Bansal said the dealer meet was primarily aimed at appreciating the contribution of dealers who had played an important role in the company’s growth and expansion.
He said the company’s journey began in 1971 when Late Shri Dewan Chand Bansal laid the foundation of the steel plant, establishing a legacy based on quality, integrity, commitment and continuous improvement.
“Our journey began in 1971 with Late Shri Dewan Chand Bansal, who laid the foundation of the steel plant. The values he established—quality, commitment and continuous improvement—continue to guide us even today. Our responsibility is to carry that legacy forward while embracing the technology of tomorrow,” Amogh Bansal said.
He said the company had consistently upgraded its technology and manufacturing capabilities over the past five decades.
“Technology keeps changing, and we have never hesitated to invest in new technology or move forward,” he said, adding that the company remained focused on improving products and manufacturing processes.
According to Amogh Bansal, the company has invested in advanced machinery imported from Germany to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and align production standards with international requirements.
He said the transition from the legacy Shakti brand to Shakti Thermex represented another important phase in the company’s journey, with the new identity backed by advanced technology and a continued focus on quality.
“Our research has already started on what the next technology will be. Just as we brought the latest technology to North India, our aim is to bring future technologies at the earliest,” he said.
Describing Kashmir as an important and knowledgeable market, Bansal said dealers and customers in the region understood steel quality and could distinguish genuine quality products from inferior material.
“Our first thought is how we can improve our quality and enhance our customer service,” he said.
The dealer meet also provided an opportunity for distributors and dealers from different parts of Kashmir to share their experiences with Shakti Thermex.
Dealers from Pulwama, Budgam and other areas appreciated the company’s product quality, customer service and quick order processing. They also highlighted the efficient loading and dispatch system, saying faster vehicle processing helped dealers maintainn regular supplies.
A dealer associated with the company for nearly two decades said product quality, timely delivery and transparent business dealings were among its major strengths, helping build confidence among retailers and customers.
