Srinagar, Mar 24: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, Shesh Paul Vaid, on Saturday termed Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai’s son joining of militant ranks as “unfortunate”.
“It is unfortunate that his son joined militancy. Sehrai should ask his son to shun the militancy. I appeal everyone who has joined militancy that they should return to their homes as violence only creates destruction,” Vaid told The Kashmir Monitor.
