Searches conducted at 4 places in Budgam: Police

Srinagar, Apr 29: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday carried out searches simultaneously at four places in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
“Pursuing leads in the investigation of a case pertaining to subversive activities, police after obtaining search warrants from the competent court carried out searches at four places simultaneously in Budgam district,” said a spokesman, in a statement.
“During searches, incriminating material including laptop, tablet, smart phones, documents, letters, bank pass books, cash books, video camera & cassettes were seized,” he said.
All legal formalities have been fulfilled in presence of magistrate and independent witnesses. Further investigation in the instant case is going on.
