PULWAMA, APRIL 19: The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation (RNAF) has inaugurated a new Women’s Skill Centre in Zagigam, Pulwama, further strengthening its mission of empowering women through education and vocational training across Jammu & Kashmir.

This new centre adds to the growing network of RNAF initiatives in the region, offering comprehensive skill-based training in tailoring, embroidery, handicrafts, and basic entrepreneurship. By providing these practical tools, RNAF aims to help local women achieve financial independence and play a more active role in shaping their communities.

Speaking at the inauguration, Rouble Nagi, Founder of RNAF, reaffirmed her commitment to grassroots empowerment: “True empowerment begins with education and opportunity. Through our skill centres, we aim to provide both. Every woman trained here is a step forward in creating a stronger, self-reliant society. Our centres are spaces where women rediscover their potential and take charge of their future. We are proud to stand with the women of Kashmir in this journey.”

The launch in Pulwama is yet another feather in RNAF’s cap, underscoring its long-standing dedication to sustainable social development. In line with this vision, RNAF also introduced Studio Saksham, an e-commerce platform designed to support and sustain the outcomes of its skill training programs. The platform enables women to market and sell their handmade products, bridging the gap between local craftsmanship and national demand.

With over five operational centres in Kashmir alone, RNAF continues to champion women-led growth, blending creativity, capability, and commerce to build a more inclusive and resilient society.

“RNAF remains at the forefront of community development through a powerful combination of art, education, and livelihood opportunities, making a lasting impact across India,” RNAF statement said.
