Srinagar, Oct 31: Like many other notable personalities, former J&K Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu, too was Wednesday avidly watching and following the Real Kashmir Football Club’s maiden match in I-League campaign.
Early in the morning, Drabu, while sharing the schedule of RKFC versus Minerva, tweeted: This is baptism by fire! But RKFC you are gold standard and I am sure you will come out glittering! As we say in kashmiri, “nare draaw suan”!
At half time he wrote: Holding the defending champs to a goal less first half. Very well done indeed RKFC! Keep it up!
And then added: Wow! Leading 1 – nil now! Scored the goal in the 74th minute!
Finally when RKFC won, Drabu wrote: And history has been created! Real Kashmir Football Club, the first ever tral out of J&K to play in I league have beaten the defending champions , Minerva Punjab F.C. 1-0! Congratulations! This is the stuff legends are made of!
