Srinagar, March 05: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather advisory for Jammu and Kashmir, forecasting a spell of rain and snow from March 10 to 14.
As per the forecast, the weather will remain mostly dry until March 9. However, between March 10 and 11, many areas, especially higher reaches, may experience light to moderate rain and snowfall.
On March 12, the weather is expected to turn generally cloudy, followed by another round of rain and snow on March 13 and 14.
Authorities have advised travelers, tourists, and transporters to follow official guidelines and traffic advisories.
Farmers have been encouraged to complete their agricultural activities before March 9.
Additionally, residents have been cautioned to stay away from steep slopes and avalanche-prone zones for their safety.
