SRINAGAR, JUNE 13: Police in Awantipora continued its special drive for destruction of wild cannabis in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pampore.
Police Party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO PS Pampore alongwith officials of Excise Department under the supervision of SDPO Pampore launched a special drive against wild cannabis and destroyed on vast area (approximately 10 kanals).
“General public of the area have appreciated the action and have urged the authorities to continue this drive in nearby areas also,” said a police statement.
