Brazilian lyricist and novelist Paulo Coelho, who is best known for his novel The Alchemist’ is an active Tweeter. The 74-year-old writer, whose words have inspired millions shares some interesting anecdotes and lines on his Twitter handle.
His latest one, however, is a prayer that pertains to all of us. Something that we all would want in our lives and would be lucky if even some of them are heard.
The prayer tweet by Coelho reads:
May God give you
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
The lines are apparently from an old Irish blessing by an anonymous author. But they so entail everything that we need in our modern, quasi-torturous quasi-restless lives.
