Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has responded to a Pakistani actor who accused BCCI of fixing the India-Afghanistan game in the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Team India recorded their first win of the 2021 T20 World Cup with a 66-run victory over Afghanistan.

Batting first, India put up a massive score of 210.

Openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul scored half-centuries. Chasing, Afghanistan struggled to get any momentum as they kept losing wickets.

Appreciating India’s effort in the game, Chopra tweeted, “This is how it is done. India played like India.” However, Pakistan movie star Sehar Shinwari replied to him, “BCCI bought a good match.”

Chopra gave a perfect response to Shinwari by posting a picture in which it was written, “If only closed minds came with closed mouths.”

India kept their chances of qualifying for the semi-final alive with the win over Afghanistan. The Men in Blue are still dependent on other results going their way to make it past the group.

Virat Kohli & Co will face Scotland in the next match on Friday at the Dubai International Stadium. They will then play Namibia on Monday in the same venue in their final game of the Super 12 stage of the ongoing T20 World Cup.
