‘Our primary goal is to foster environment conducive to learning’

SRINAGAR APRIL 09: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Srinagar, Rifat Qadri, convened an online session with all Principals and Zonal Education Officers of District Srinagar. This meeting marked her first official gathering after assuming charge as CEO, and it focused on enhancing academic standards and effective implementation of educational policies in the district.

During the meeting, Rifat Qadri emphasized the significance of the Academic Planner, urging all Heads of Institutions (HOIs) to utilize the talents of educators in innovative ways for the benefit of students. She stated, “Our primary goal is to foster an environment conducive to learning, where every student can thrive. The Academic Planner is our roadmap, and it is imperative that we adhere to it effectively.”

Rifat Qadri also inquired about the Monitoring of Schools by Cluster Heads and Zonal Education Officers, directing them to ensure that all inspection reports are uploaded to the designated link within the stipulated timeframe. “Timely reporting is crucial for transparency and improvement within our educational institutions,” she added.

Additionally, CEO Srinagar highlighted the importance of the Swacch Survekshan – Field Assessment, reinforcing the need for strict adherence to guidelines. She pointed out that cleanliness and hygiene are essential aspects of the school environment. Anjum Raja, District Education Planning Officer (DEPO) Srinagar, supported this point by discussing various assessment indicators, including Waste Management in Schools (Indicator 308, 150 marks) and School Toilets (Indicator 4.51, 150 marks).

All participants expressed their commitment to implementing the necessary directions with immediate effect, ensuring that the educational framework in District Srinagar continues to evolve positively.
