“Rugged smartphones can look good,can be powerful, can shoot good photos”, this is what OUKITEL devoted to make their latest WP5000 to be. This WP5000 is well designed to be thin and slim, looks good visually. It is built ideally to go through different kinds of extreme environments as well as powerful performance. It has got higher antutu scores than other rugged smartphones, then how about its camera? OUKITEL tells that this WP5000 is also a smartphone that will get great cameras to offer good shooting experience.
In hardware, WP5000 will come with a 21MP(16MP interpolated) rear camera along with a Samsung 3P3 sensor and supports PDAF fast focus. The rear camera also gets a subsidiary camera to get a blur mode besides normal mode, face beautify mode and panorama mode. To match the IP68 grade waterproof feature, WP5000 set the volume down key as a shoot button for shooting under water. That means you can shoot the colorful fishes and corals when you dive.
OUKITEL already confirmed all the specs for WP5000, it will come with 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and will be fueled by a MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor. It will also get a 18:9 aspect designed 5.7 inch display, that means you can get larger usable display than other rugged smartphones as well as a slimmer body to hold in one hand. For battery, WP5000 will get a 5200mAh battery for about 2 days use. What can be expected is that WP5000 will start presale by early April. OUKITEL started the subscription activity by beginning of March to offer a bigger discount during presale.
