NSO holds Regional Training Camp on CAMS Education

Srinagar, April 12: A two-day regional training camp focusing on CAMS Education and CAMS Health, under the NSS 80th Round on Socio-Economic Survey, was organized by the National Sample Survey Office (NSO), Field Operations Division (FOD), at the Regional Office in Srinagar.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Masrat Sidique, Senior Statistical Officer (SSO), Regional Office, Srinagar. The inaugural session was graced by Arif Iqbal Bhat, Assistant Director, NSO-FOD, Regional Office Srinagar, and Syed Adil Zahoor, Assistant Director, NSO-FOD, Sub-Regional Office Baramulla, who highlighted the importance of the NSS 80th Round and the role of CAMS modules in collecting vital socio-economic data.
The training sessions were conducted by Sheikh Taheen Mustafa, SSO, and Masrat Siddiq, who imparted detailed guidance on the CAMS Education and CAMS Health modules, ensuring participants were well-equipped to undertake the upcoming survey tasks.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Tariq Ahmad Tanga, Senior Statistical Officer, who appreciated the efforts of all participants and trainers in making the training a success.
