Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that those who resorted to photo sessions in huts of poor would find talk about the poor in Parliament boring.
In a veiled attack on Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Modi said, “Those who resort to photo sessions in huts of poor will find talk about poor in Parliament boring.”
He was replying to Motion of Thanks debate in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
“We did not give false slogans, but true development to people,” Modi said in LS.
“Not everyone can understand the difficulty of living under thatched roof and moments when dreams are crushed,” he said.
“Pain of the poor and troubles of common man cannot be understood just like that; it requires passion, some just don’t have it.”
“There was fashion to call one PM as Mr Clean but he admitted that if Re 1 is sent from Delhi, people got only 15 paise,” the PM said.
Slamming the Aaam Aadmi Party, he said, “The government schemes saved lot of money, but we did not use it to build ‘Sheesh Mahal”.
15 lakh was empty
Nothing will be better for kashmir
He has to mean that there will be no more development, only empty slogans…
