LEH/ PRAGYARAJ, JANUARY 29: The National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa (NISR), Leh, has launched a 15-day free medical camp and exhibition at the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, starting from Tuesday.
The initiative aims to provide free healthcare services to devotees and the general public attending the grand religious gathering while raising awareness about the traditional Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine.
Maha Kumbh 2025, one of the largest spiritual congregations in the world, attracts millions of pilgrims and visitors from across the globe. The Sowa-Rigpa medical camp and exhibition offer a unique platform to showcase the significance of this ancient healing system and its deep connection to Indian culture.
Officials from the National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa emphasized that this initiative is a valuable opportunity to educate people about the benefits of Sowa-Rigpa and promote its integration into mainstream healthcare practices.
The camp will continue for 15 days, providing consultations and treatments based on Sowa-Rigpa principles while also displaying its rich history and contributions to traditional medicine.
