Srinagar, Mar 18: The Joint Hurriyat Leadership Monday said that Government of India’s “dream to trample the Kashmiri resistance through NIA, ED is like day dreaming.”
In a statement, Joint Hurriyat said that maneuvers to trample “peoples resistance” through NIA, ED like agencies, PSA and other acts, banning socio-religious organizations, arresting common people, political activists, Ulema and religious scholars, and other acts of crackdown are “like daydreaming”.
“Today when Indian state and its leadership is displaying its ignorant chauvinism and has expedited its operation all out to defeat our resistance, it is the duty of every Kashmiri to remain steadfast, follow every program from leadership in letter and spirit and keep the flame of freedom lit,” the statement said.
Calling the NIA, ED warrants and summons against Mirwaiz Muhammad Umar Farooq, Syed Naseem Geelani and others as part of ‘operation all out’, Joint Hurriyat said that “framing concocted charges by using NIA, ED like agencies and then intimidating leaders, their children, kith and kin and friends under this garb is ample proof of failure to defeat Kashmiri resistance”.
