Srinagar, Jan 2: The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has forecast intermittent snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir, ranging from light to moderate, with isolated heavy snowfall expected in higher reaches, until January 6.
In a post shared on X, the MeT Centre stated, “In view of fresh snowfall, sub-freezing temperatures, and icy conditions on roads (plains/higher reaches),” cautioning about potential disruptions.
The forecast indicates light snowfall from January 2-3, transitioning to cloudy skies and moderate snowfall from January 4-6. Dry weather conditions are expected to prevail from January 7-10.
Tourists and travelers are advised to adhere to administrative and traffic advisories for safety.
