SRINAGAR, JULY 09: In order to ensure swift and seamless implementation of Mission YUVA scheme aimed to facilitate the success of enterprises in the district, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo on Wednesday chaired a meeting here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex.
At the outset, DC took a department wise review in implementation of Mission Yuva scheme and stressed the stakeholder departments to ensure swift and seamless implementation of the scheme to facilitate the success of youth-led enterprises in the district. DC stressed strong on-ground implementation and effective interdepartmental coordination to avoid delays in sanctioning & disposal of benefits to the eligible beneficiaries. He directed regular performance monitoring of progress under Mission YUVA on a daily basis and convening District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meetings every Wednesday till the disposal of all the received applications.
On the occasion, DC asked the stakeholder departments to redouble the efforts to ensure swift processing/ verification and uploading of Mission Yuva cases on the portal.
He stressed on implementation of Mission YUVA into a viable platform for empowering youth through sustainable self-employment and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Rifat Aftab Qureshi; Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar; General Manager DIC, Hamida Akhtar; SDM West, Irfan Bahadur, Deputy Director Employment, Dr. Sheeba, DSEO, Shah Ismail Bangroo, LDM(Banks), Nilofer Jan and Officers from EDI, NABARD, NRLM, Agriculture and other concerned Departments.
