New Delhi, November 7: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the transfer of two IAS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre from Jammu and Kashmir to the Union Territory of Ladakh with immediate effect.
As per an official order issued on November 6, 2026, with the approval of the competent authority, Rakesh Minhas, IAS (AGMUT: 2016), and Faz Lul Haseeb, IAS (AGMUT: 2018), have been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir and posted to Ladakh until further orders.
The order, issued under File No. F.No.15041/08/2023-UTS.I, has been signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India.
The Ministry has directed that the transfer order be conveyed to the officers concerned through the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. Copies have also been forwarded to the Chief Secretaries of the concerned Union Territories and other relevant authorities for necessary action.
The transfers take effect immediately and will remain in force until further orders. ANB
