Mehbooba will be ‘thrown out’ of her own party: Karra

Srinagar, July 3: Congress leader Tariq Hameed Karra on Tuesday said that some People’s Democratic Party (PDP) legislators are planning to forge an ‘unholy’ alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in lieu of huge monetary benefits and PDP’s party president Mehbooba Mufti will be thrown out of her own party by her trusted people.

Karra in a statement said that the game plan would be to hold a separate legislature party meeting and dethrone Mehbooba Mufti as leader of the Legislature Party and this independent group would be allowed to occupy separate seats in the Assembly by the speaker.

He said that as he has already mentioned in a tweet on June 24, ‘a group of MLA’s led by Late Mufti’s and Mehbooba’s most loyalist man are ready to set up an unholy and unethical alliance with BJP after Amarnath Yatra, against a very heavy reward of the huge amount for each MLA.

He further added that though it was a fait accompli after PDP became facilitator and collaborator with RSS, the irony is that the party president of PDP shall literally be thrown out of her own party by her most trusted lieutenants.
