SRINAGAR, JUNE 2: Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister of J&K and President, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan today.
Mufti discussed various important matters, including the smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and dignified return and rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Community in the valley.
Later, Dr. Karan Singh, former Union Minister and former Member of Parliament, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
A delegation of the Traders Association, Lal Chowk Srinagar, led by its President Mohammad Iqbal Khan, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today.
The members of the delegation put forth important matters pertaining to the improvement of civic amenities at Lal Chowk and other issues of the traders’ community.
The Lieutenant Governor assured that appropriate action will be taken to address the issues projected by them.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Najmus Saqib and Suhaib Feroz Jeelani, International Pencak Silat Players from Srinagar, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today and apprised him of various issues about the extension of benefits under the sports policy to the sportspersons of Jammu and Kashmir.
