Mumbai :The picture of a man who was allegedly made to wait for the ambulance with an oxygen cylinder on his shoulder has gone viral on social media, triggering outrage against the hospital authorities.
In the picture, the man could be seen holding oxygen cylinder on his shoulder with cathedral attached to his ailing mother.
The picture according to news agency ANI is of Uttar Pradesh’s Agra Medical College, where mother son duo was waiting for ambulance to arrive.
The mother-son duo waited for a long time for the ambulance, but the vehicle was a no-show, said the report.
However, hospital authorities have a different tale to narrate. “During patients’ shifting ward boy asked him to wait for a while, that is when media took photos. We will inquire about the issue and will act if lapses are found,” report quoted the hospital staff as having said.
