LG Sinha Inaugurates National Youth Festival in Srinagar

Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday inaugurated the National Youth Festival in Srinagar and said that the event reflects a new vision of “Rise, Shine, and Conquer” for the youth of the country.

Addressing participants during the inaugural session, the Lieutenant Governor said the vision encapsulates a complete philosophy that illuminates the path towards the future and serves as a promise as well as a bold challenge for building a developed India by 2047.

He said the National Youth Festival is a declaration that the era of youth leadership has arrived, adding that young people will play a decisive role in shaping the nation’s future.

Highlighting the significance of the “Young Leaders Dialogue” organised as part of the festival, LG Sinha said the initiative would help lay a strong foundation and framework for the next chapter of India’s glorious heritage.

He urged the youth to contribute positively towards nation-building, innovation, leadership, and social transformation, stating that the energy and ideas of young people are essential for achieving the vision of a prosperous and developed India.

The festival witnessed participation of youth delegates, students, innovators, and cultural representatives from different parts of the country.
