LG, Omar greet people on Shab-e-Qadr

JAMMU, MARCH 27: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his greetings to the people on the eve of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida.

In a message, the Lieutenant Governor said, “On the auspicious occasions of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida, I convey my hearty greetings and felicitations to all and wish them health, happiness, and prosperity. May the Almighty accept all our prayers and continue to guide us on the path of compassion, love, and harmony”.

 In his message, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah highlighted the spiritual significance of Shab-i-Qadr, the blessed night when the Holy Quran was revealed, and Jumat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of Ramadan, which holds great importance for the Muslim community.

 He urged the people to use these sacred moments for prayers, self-reflection, and seeking divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and brotherhood.

 “May these blessed occasions bring harmony, prosperity, and well-being to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Let us pray for peace, unity, and the progress of our society and strengthen the bonds of compassion and togetherness,” CM Abdullah said.

 The Chief Minister also called upon the people to remember the underprivileged and extend help to those in need, emphasizing the values of kindness and generosity that define the spirit of Ramadan.

 He expressed hope that the prayers and the blessings of these holy occasions would inspire everyone to work towards a more just, inclusive, and peaceful society.
