Srinagar, May 01: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Mehmood Shah has paid tributes to Sameer Tiger and his comrades and said their sacrifices will pull Kashmiris out from “darkness of slavery to light of freedom”.
Lashkar spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in an emailed statement said, “India claims of having achieved success in suppressing the freedom struggle every time a freedom fighter is martyred but the occupational forces are disappointed and frustrated on the rise of Abu Qasims, Burhans, Bashir Lashkari, Noor Muhammad Trali and Sameer Tigers.”
Mehmood Shah said New Delhi can no longer sustain its “illegal occupation” on Kashmir by force. “Kashmiris and Hurriyat leaders will soon get to see the sun of freedom as a result of their immense sacrifices,” he said.
LeT chief wholeheartedly thanked the people for their “unmatched love, sacrifices, harmony and support” and said “nowhere in the world a nation possess such brave people. We are proud of our people”.
