Korea to Kashmir circuit needed: Korean Ambassador

The Korean Ambassador, Chang Jaebok on Tuesday expressed need for the governments of Korea and India to collaborate in order to boost tourism from Korea to Kashmir.

During an interaction with reporters at the 3rd G20 Tourism Working Group Meeting, the Korean Ambassador emphasized the importance of promoting cultural exchanges to attract film crews to shoot in the Valley. He stated that both governments should make efforts to facilitate such exchanges.

Furthermore, Jaebok affirmed that the Korean government fully supports India during its G20 presidency this year. He mentioned that while every country has its own stance on various issues, Korea stands firmly behind India for its G20 presidency.

The Ambassador acknowledged that increasing the number of Korean tourists visiting Kashmir would take some time, but emphasized that the governments of both India and Korea must actively promote cultural exchanges in order to achieve this goal.
