Srinagar: ELFA International, a premier NGO in J&K has been working in close coordination with Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Department of Health and District Administrations, organization distributed/donated emergency supplies like, Hand Sanitizers, Face Masks, PPE, Hand Gloves and Sanitary pads to different Emergency/Health and Quarantine Facilities in district Srinagar, Baramulla, Pulwama, Budgam and Kuwara, besides distributing ration packs among needy people.
Organization so far distributed around 10000 units of emergency supplies among various district, sub-district, state run hospitals, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Srinagar Administration and among different frontline workers including Jammu & Kashmir Police. The emergency response and the work of the organization has been appreciated by the authorities, the Mayor of Srinagar city, DC Srinagar and District Administration Srinagar appreciated organization’s work through their formal tweets.
The Chief Executive (CEO) of the organization Mehran Khan said that the organization is committed to work in these difficult and testing times for the welfare of people of Jammu & Kashmir and planning to strengthen their response and try to arrange ration packs for the needy people in the 2nd phase of the emergency response.
