Jammu: Under the supervision of well known coach Ishfaq Ahmad, the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council has been organizing a football coaching camp for young footballers in Jammu.
The camp has been ongoing for over a week at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground, Jammu. Ishfaq Ahmad is leading the coaching sessions, with senior coach Satpal Singh assisting him.
The primary objective of the camp is to promote and develop football in Jammu.
Ishfaq Ahmad stated that over 80 players participated in the trials. “We have selected 28 players, and among them, the most talented will have the opportunity to join the U-20 Jammu and Kashmir team,” he said.
The Sports Minister, along with the J&K Sports Council and J&K Youth Services, has shown keen interest in developing a football culture in Jammu.
