SRINAGAR: J&K government has sacked two senior officers including Deputy Superintendent of Jails Feroz Ahmad Lone and Principal Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Bijbehara Javid Ahmad Shah for “actively working with terror organizations”.

The government invoked 311 (2) (c) of the Constitution of India to terminate the services of the two officers after the investigation allegedly established their `terror links’. Sources said DySP Lone used his contacts with terror commanders to send youth to Pakistan/PoK for arms training.

“They used to give them weapons training and later push them back into Kashmir. The probe also indicates that Lone was working for Riyaz Naikoo, slain chief of HM,” sources said.

The investigation, sources said, also revealed that Javid Ahmed Shah was a hardcore militant supporter and ardent sympathizer of Hurriyat and Jamat-e-Islami (JeI). “He played a role of an advisor to Hurriyat and JeI in Bijbehara during Burhan Wani agitation in 2016,” sources said.
