JeM militant arrested in B’la: Police

Srinagar, Oct 6: J&K Police said it arrested one militant affiliated with outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

“On a credible input Baramulla police arrested one active militant identified as Mohsin Manzoor Salhea resident of Arampora Azadgunj, Old Town Baramulla.Incriminating material including arms and ammunition were recovered from his possession. All these incriminating materials have been seized by police to probe his complicity in militant crimes,” a police spokesperson said.

According to the police records,the militant was part of groups involved in planning and executing attacks in the area.

“Cases were also registered against him including case FIR No. 147/19 of P/S Baramulla & 163/19 of P/S Baramulla.The active militant remains in police custody and further investigation in the matter is in progress,” the spokesperson said.
