Irfana Zargar joins Islamic Global School as new Principal

Srinagar: Prominent educationist, Irfana Yousuf Zargar has joined Islamic Global School, Padhshahi Bagh, as its new Principal.

Irfan, before joining the IGS, served Kashmir Harvard School as Principal for around 17 years.

She has joined the school with a vision to make it achieve new heights in the academic and other co-curricular activities.

While expressing the reasons behind her joining IGS, Irfana said that she chose to head IGS because the school is exclusively known for imparting worldly and Islamic knowledge side by side.

“It gives me immense pleasure to be a part of this Institute. With the experience of 17 years as an educationist, I chose the (IGS) school because apart from providing material knowledge, the school makes all the possible efforts to provide knowledge related to Deen”, she said.

She said that students at IGS are taught to be morally and ethically strong. “They are encouraged to develop respectful relations not only with their teacher but also with the society,” she said.

IGS staff is thrilled to have a new leader and are committed to work with full enthusiasm in providing quality education to IGS students.

Chairman IGS, Muhammad Aamir expressed his gratitude on Irfana’s joining the school as new Principal and hoped that it will be a new beginning for the school.

“She (Irfana) is one of the brilliant educationists that we have in Kashmir. I am hopeful that she will make IGS an excellent learning hub in Kashmir and take it to new heights. The management at IGS will work closely with her to achieve optimum utilization of human and other resources,” he said.
