Srinagar, April 26: BJP president J.P. Nadda on Saturday vowed that India would deliver a “befitting” response to those behind the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives earlier this week.
Speaking to reporters after offering prayers at the Shrimant Dagadusheth Ganapati temple, Nadda said the entire nation stands united in anger and looks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a strong, decisive response.
“I came here to seek blessings from Ganpati Bappa. The cowardly attack in Jammu and Kashmir has outraged the entire country. People are confident that Prime Minister Modi will give a firm and powerful answer,” he said.
Referring to the attack, one of the deadliest in Kashmir in recent years, where terrorists opened fire on tourists at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam, Nadda stressed that the nation’s resolve would not be shaken.
He added, “With Ganeshji’s blessings, and the strength and wisdom he bestows, India will overcome this difficult moment. Under PM Modi’s leadership, a befitting reply will be given to those responsible.”
