As winter sets in Kashmir, the beauty and serenity of the valley is adorned with red and golden hues as the majestic Chinars shed their leaves, longing for a spring that will return after some snowy and cold months.

The famed Mughal Gardens of Kashmir have become even more beautiful with people, including a handful of tourists, visiting them to see the beauty of the changing seasons.

The Kashmir Monitor lensman, Umar Ganie, captured some of these scintillating scenes to bring to our readers the true colours of nature.
