Srinagar: Year’s first snowfall in Kashmir has left a trail of destruction across the valley with initial pictures from Srinagar and nearby districts capturing the damage to houses and houseboats.

Here are a few such pictures captured by The Kashmir Monitor lensman Umar Ganie and some shared by people from other districts.
