Before Pakistan’s historic win against arch-rivals India in the T20 World Cup Super-12 stage yesterday, something important happened on the same pitch- a shadow batting practice.

A video shared by ICC on their Twitter handle shows Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsmen Mohammad Rizwan doing shadow batting before the start of the game. Rizwan can be seen visualizing certain scenarios and playing them accordingly. Interestingly, Rizwan played similar shots during the actual game.
“Dream. Visualise. Execute. Mohammad Rizwan’s masterpiece started before a ball was bowled,” ICC wrote on their Twitter handle.
They also shared the spilt screen video of Rizwan playing behind the playing surface and on the real surface.
