Positioning of furniture:

Move your furniture towards sun-shaded areas but lit by direct sun. Use light-colored curtains and more importantly it is advised to add curtains in summer-friendly materials like cotton and linen.

Opt for natural fabrics:

Bid temporary farewell to materials like satin, silk, and polyester bed sheets. Make sure you also lighten up your bed during summer. Put away extra pillows and thick sheets. Natural fabrics such as cotton are breathable and also have insulating properties. You will also be helping the environment if you use natural materials instead of synthetic ones.

More greenery inside:

Plants act as natural air-conditioners and help to maintain the temperature indoors. Adding multiple house plant vases to your home will allow for better airflow. They also purify your home, so you can breathe in the fresh air inside your home. Use large trees indoors like ficus, rubber, money plant, succulents, aloe vera, etc. Spray them with water droplets to get a fresh look and aura.

Declutter:

Get away with things that you do not need in the summer season. Store away things like jackets, sweaters, blankets, and furnishing that are useful only during the winters. By doing this, you will be able to create more space inside your rooms.
