Hizb pays tributes, says ‘Wani was precious intellectual asset’

Srinagar, Oct 11: Hizb-ul-Mujahideen Chief Syed Sallah-Ud-Din, Deputy Chief Khalid Saifullah and Field Commander Mohammad Bin Qasim on Thursday paid tributes to slain Hizb commander Dr Abdul Manan who was killed in a gunfight with government forces in Shahgund Handwara today.

Hizb’s operational spokesman Burhan-ud-din in a tele-statement quoted Syed Salah-ud-din Singh, Saifullah Khalid and Mohammad Bin Qasim as saying “Dr Abdul Manan Wani was a precious intellectual asset and his martyrdom will give birth to thousands of Manan Wani.”

“Dr Manan was neither the first nor the last freedom fighter but his every drop of blood will produce thousands of of Manan Wanis’,” Hizb said.
