GMC Srinagar Holds Condolence Meeting for PG Scholar Dr. Muzammil

Srinagar: Government Medical College Srinagar on Tuesday held a condolence meeting to mourn the untimely demise of Dr. Muzammil, a third-year postgraduate scholar from the Department of Anatomy.
The meeting was attended by faculty members, Heads of Departments, postgraduate scholars, students and staff, who gathered to pay tribute to the young doctor and express solidarity with his bereaved family.
Principal and Dean Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Hassan Shah expressed profound grief over the tragic loss and remembered Dr. Muzammil as a sincere, dedicated and promising scholar. She said his humility, commitment to academics and compassionate nature had earned him the respect and affection of colleagues, teachers and students alike.
Describing his demise as an irreparable loss for both the institution and the medical fraternity, Prof. Shah conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of Government Medical College Srinagar to the bereaved family and prayed for strength and patience for them during this difficult time.
Head of the Department of Anatomy, Prof. (Dr.) Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, also paid rich tributes to Dr. Muzammil, describing him as a hardworking and bright scholar who remained actively involved in academics, research and teaching activities. He said the sudden demise of the young doctor has left the department in deep shock and created a void that would be difficult to fill.
During the condolence meeting, participants observed a moment of silence and offered Fateha prayers for the departed soul. Senior faculty members and colleagues remembered Dr. Muzammil as a humble, respectful and kind-hearted individual whose presence touched many lives.
Special prayers were offered for eternal peace to the departed soul, with participants praying that Almighty Allah grants him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus and gives courage and patience to his family and loved ones to bear the loss.
The meeting concluded with prayers, quiet reflection and a shared sense of grief over the loss of a young doctor whose life ended far too soon.
