Geelani, Mirwaiz, Malik saddened by massacre of Palestinians

Srinagar, May 15: Expressing his grave concern over the genocide of the innocent people of Palestine at the hands of Israel’s forces, Hurriyat (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani condemned the gruesome incident of killing dozens of Palestinians mercilessly.
The statement while rejecting the US hegemony to accept Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the Hurriyat chairman said it is against the sovereignty of a nation like Palestine to intervene in the internal matters of the sovereign state is against the set principles of UNO.
Geelani in his statement further elaborated that the organization of Islamic countries (OIC) should take stock of the situation and use its good offices on diplomatic front to deter the policy of genocide of the weaker nations of the world at the hands of imperialistic powers, including Palestine and Kashmir in the light of agreed principles of Islam, as for as respect towards human life irrespective of religion, caste, creed or color is concerned. All humans should rise to the occasion and fight rule of tyranny and cruelty prevailing anywhere in the world, Geelani added
Hurriyat (M) chairman and the patron of Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema Mirwaiz Umar Farooq strongly condemned Israel’s open aggression against Palestinian people which has resulted in the death dozens of Palestinians and hundreds seriously wounded stating that it is the worst form of state terrorism of which world cannot ignore.
Mirwaiz expressed his heartfelt condolences to the people of Palestine in Gaza and stated that people of Kashmir stand with the people of Palestine at this hour of grief and sorrow.
Mirwaiz said it was unfortunate that the world bodies who claim to be the champions of human rights have put a deaf ear to Israel’s fresh war crimes and that Muslim organizations of the world too have remained silent over the brutal massacre of people of Palestine. He said that the criminal silence adopted the world forums and the Muslim organizations over the genocide of Palestinian people has pushed the morale of Israeli soldiers further up to kill more innocent Palestinian Muslims.
Mirwaiz made a fervent appeal to the world conscience to rise to the occasion and play their role in getting justice for the occupied people of Kashmir and Palestine.
Blood bath in Palestine amounts to genocide of a people supported by international community. Israel by Killing innocent Palestinians and USA by supporting this carnage is actually promoting a human tragedy.
